Oh for the day when reporters were terminally divorced, poker playing, functional alcoholic bar flys, with poor personal hygiene, who reeked of cigars and hated everyone.

Hmmmm........pussyjouralism.......really? If that is such a thing, I would have to say it was invented by Fox News. Not many shows on there where you won't see plenty of legs and blondes.

Amazing how this article shows an example of the conservative not knowing what he was talking about, and they try and blame Tur for not immediately on air recognizing his mistake and expecting her to respond to what he should have said instead of what he said. If someone says Putin met with and Obama said X to Putin, and you actually know that Putin didn't, your first response would be "what meeting with Putin is this guy talking about? So actually, a knowledgeable person would immediately wonder what he was talking about.

But that's how the conservatives roll. The guy cites a nonexistant meeting and quote to Putin, when the question she asked specifically dealt with Putin, and this article blames the reporter for not immediately realizing that the guy was using an incorrect quote that wasn't to Putin. And it casually absolves the congressman for not even knowing who Obama said the quote to. They are so used to using incorrect info that they think it's normal and it's the liberals fault for not catching it rather than the congressman's fault for not even knowing who it was said to in the first place. That's life in the fact free zone.
