According to several popular military blogs and international news outlets, such as American Military News and Funker530, the last words of Alexander Prokhorenko have been released. Last month, Prokhorenko called in an airstrike on his own position, resulting in his death in order to kill ISIS fighters who had him surrounded. The Russian military spokesman who reported the story said, “He died as a hero.”

There are hero's in all countries. He never forgot his mission or his values. He died defending his country's honor and ensuring these animals could never use him as propaganda! Well done!

What an incredible story and somewhat difficult to read the transcription. I don't know what I would have done in that situation. I hope that his country honors him properly.
