Thanks TSgt Joe C. for reminding us on March 14, 1922 John "Jack" Mack was ironically killed in a crash as his car collided with a trolley in Pennsylvania.
In my youth I rode the subway system in Philadelphia which was above and below ground many times as I took a trolley from Upper Darby, Pa to the 69th Street Terminal where I transitioned to what was called the El for Elevated train in the 1960s and crossed over Cobb's Creek into West Philadelphia.
