Ths POS not only lied about injuries he did didn't receive, he used another deceased Marine's identity to do it. He is a real low life scumbag, POS. I hope he spends the rest of his life in federal prision.
They were two Marines from Texas in western Iraq, taking part in some of the worst fighting in the early stages of the insurgency.
Both left the battlefield early — and ended up with Purple Hearts. But one didn’t earn it.
Casey Owens was critically injured and lost his legs when his Humvee hit an anti-tank mine. He committed suicide in 2014 after a decade of suffering from numerous surgeries, brain injury and severe pain.

SSgt Terry P. - Yeah the same here. They either joined or were drafted. There was one opening in the NG in a small town from me. The guy that told me about it said I could join up if I hurried and got over there before someone else did. I didn't even think about it. I didn't want to skip out and not go in when most of my buds were in. I'm just not that type. You should have seen the lines at churches with couples getting married so the groom wouldn't be drafted. I thought what chicken shits. I wonder how many of those marriages worked out. LOL
