I find it odd, ISIS fighters attacked a US Marine Corp position mounted and unmounted. Thank you Staff Sgt. for laying down a base of fire, helping your wounded and moving to re-position as air cover was called in.
It was good to start the day off reading about a hard charger who earned his pay the hard way.

Off topic:
The article moves on and talks about weapon systems, ISIS positions, State and non-State actors. It is full of propaganda. ISIS and AQ are Sunni's in the area and coming from places like MI. USA to wage war as per order of Muhammad. They can be defeated in the field. But there is a enless supply of warm bodies from Mosques and Maddrassas across the globe. As long as the enemy controls the narrative and we supply so called (vetted groups), (what a joke), with weapons, our military persons are going to be targeted. Why? Because, they are Infildels according to the religion/political system of submission.
The State and nonState actors know each other, or are related to each other and pound their heads on the ground together towards Mecca where the black rock takes away their sin and Su'en is worshiped.
To attack a US Marine position takes training to even have a chance. Where is that traing camp/s?
