Meet the Navy’s first female African-American chief warrant officer

Now that is something. To be the Ships Bosun is truly a feat in itself. The knowledge one must have to achieve that position can and does fill numerous books. She was able to beat out many other men who were also very capable in their own rights for that job, and to think she started out in the National Guard, she realized there was more for her to achieve apparently. Bravo Zulu Chief!
