SP5 Dennis Loberger their equal pay rant is BS. All that needs to be done is to look at the USSF financial statements AND their different (union) collective bargaining agreements to prove that is a falsehood. Another item that is left out of the information packets presented to the public in the current manner is that they are not full time employees of the USWNT but are selected on an annual basis from their home teams and leagues. As in the case of Ms. Rapinoe, her home team and regular full time employer is the Reign FC (Tacoma, WA). This team was in dire financial straights and was losing money at a prodigious rate that put them on the brink of team closure.

Some of the other complaints that are being talked about are exaggerated as well. Take a trip to your local soccer fields and check their condition.

In your area, it appears that you have some decent fields, in my area (Wichita, KS) we have numerous fields that are in excellent condition.

SSG Robert Webster yes we have a lot of good facilities around here. My son works for the Chicago Fire and the Chicago Red Stars as a cameraman. There is I distinct difference in abilities at this level. Rapinoe has to know that or she is delusional. I believe in equal pay for equal work, but it must be equal in the real world not in someone's head

The other aspect is not just in abilities, it is the business aspect - where is the money coming from? If the business is constantly losing money and continuously in the red, eventually there is no business.

As far as I am concerned, all soccer (aka "liberal football") is women's soccer...

SSG Robert Webster - She is correct in that SHE deserves the ridicule of Americans for her self-serving disrespect to our flag, our President, and our country. She is an embarrassment to our country, as is the team who allowed her to steal their moment and make it all about her.
