Thanks for remaining us of the first acknowledged air-to-air combat by US aircraft since the Korean war stalled in the armistice in the early 1950s SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
Kudos to Capt. Thomas S. Roberts with his back seater Capt. Ronald C. Anderson, and Capt. Kenneth E. Holcombe and his back seater Capt. Arthur C. Clark who each engaged and shot down enemy MIG-17s with Sidewinder missiles from their USAF Phantom jets.
