I enjoyed the movie. Any that have historical basis are good if they are accurate and mostly factual. A recent movie "The Free State of Jones" ends with the voter registration plight. It's worth watching also. If Oliver Stone produces one it is already suspect with me, due to his penchant for sensationalism. "Snowden" comes to mind as well as "JFK". He is the Alex Jones of his genre IMO. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. I thought Ghosts of Mississippi was excellent, but many people do not like Alec Baldwin. I thought the movie was a good representation of a real event, the trial of the assassin of Medgar Evers.

SGT (Join to see) - I wasn't even thinking of Ghosts of Mississippi, but rather Mississippi Burning. Baldwin certainly is not very popular with conservatives due to his SNL Trump skits and neither is the Director Rob Reiner. I didn't like it nearly as much as the other one with Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe, but it was still good. The movie about Malcolm X is also decent; at least for the history of it, and Denzel Washington is a good actor. He can really turn the tears on and off while acting. He doesn't usually play a bad guy but was good in Training Day. I liked him in Man on Fire also.

It's funny you mentioned Denzel Washington. He went to high school for a while at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, the same school Vince Carter of NBA fame attended

I prefer Mississipi Burning myself. Gene Hackman and Willem Defoe were great in that movie.

The cheshire cat smiles on Price and Rainey in the pictures show men who feel that the game is rigged in their favor and they are going to get off. For Rainey that was to some extent true.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - It was the Democrats who kept electing a known KKK member to the Senate for decades. That's your shit-stain, not ours.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Some may see MAGA that way but not the majority. There are extreme elements of most any organization. The little darlings at Berkeley have not been model citizens. Not sure they identify with (D) Party though, or anyone but themselves. Mostly anarchists it would seem, but are likely associated with Dems in the opinion of many.
