PO1 William "Chip" Nagel This is a disturbing quote: "This time, the focus was tennis. He remembered how much he loved it and we discovered he is disabled enough to play wheelchair tennis outside of the Invictus Games — now, we have a plan for life after the Games." 'disabled enough'? Having PTSD and crushingly suicidal ideation and perhaps SUD wouldn't be enough? Why do we not have programs for people with entirely invisible wounds? This confounds me. But I am truly grateful for Jamie, his incredible partner Leesa who did for him what few women would (at the peril and mental health of her children, but that's another angle of the story.) I am glad they are all so well, now. I pray that Jamie someday finds that sports brings him meaning beyond recreation or...perhaps, maybe someday he'll create a program for others like the ones that helped him. Not expensive.

It's a really good article, SFC William Farrell ... I wonder what comments you'll have? Tag us! PTSD does royally suck. Been there, being there... I have tshirts, sweatshirts, baseball caps to prove it, LOL!
