Thank you, my friend SSG(P) (Join to see) for making us aware that the last USMC Navajo code talker Alfred K. Newman dies at 94
"During World War II, Newman served from 1943-45 in 1st Battalion, 21st Regiment, 3rd Marine Division and saw duty at Bougainville Island, Guam, Iwo Jima, Kwajalein Atoll, Enewetak Atoll, New Georgia and New Caledonia.
Newman is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betsy. They have five children, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren."
Prayers for his grieving widow Betsy and their five children, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rest in peace Alfred K. Newman.

This guy was, and will forever be known hereafter as a courageous and dedicated Marine who fought for his Country valiantly and with honor, in the way he could do the most good.
