Well, technically it is a property crime, since it wasn't his flag. But that's all it is.

So we can tear down the US Flag, symbol, stomp it, burn it, piss on it, shred it, and use it as a punch line and it is all legal protesting and 1st amendment rights but this guys uses his 1st amendment rights on an unofficial flag and they are on a manhunt for him...wow!

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth Yep, that's where we are. That rag, the non-binary rag and all the rest are now worthy of hate crime protection when 'disrespected' but it's 'free speech' when the US flag has the same things done.
I'll bet Rick Monday, a former Marine, would have been charges with theft if the flagthat he grabbed from being burned at Dodger Stadium in 1976 had occurred yesterday.
