SSG Warren Swan Good Riddance... They should have been fired. I hope they don't reappear elsewhere. I am surprised they were fired... after seeing the goofy Chief in an interview... It took him a very long time to look into this, and suspend these too. I am glad the woman they pulled over was persistent. I think the senior officer, FTO in training, most definitely needed to go, but I thinking the junior officer was looking to her for advice. The senior busted out the coin app.

Dumb stuff like this erodes the basic trust that is needed between police and the community. I'm sure we haven't heard the last from them being there have been instances in the past where cops were fired from one PD and hired by another because the other was shorthanded.
At least something other than a BS suspension or the usual "slow walk" of nothing happening was done.
