Was in a pass and review at FT Bliss when he was going to hospital there. 1976 or so.

I envy you Chief.
I almost met General Bradley when he was living at the Waldorf-Astoria. I knew the manager of the lobby newsstand there, I had worked with him at Penn Station for years. I stopped by the hotel to say hello, and as we were chatting, he looked over my shoulder, nodded and waved to someone.
I turned to see who it was, but only saw his back as he walked to the elevators. My friend said "That was General Omar Bradley. He usually stops to talk to me, but he's kind of shy. and seeing I was talking to you, he didn't want to interrupt."

I remember see him at Ft Lee in 1977>He was like a GOD!!! lol the way people treated him!!!! He earned it!!!
