What the hell has happened to common sense with these college students? If they really believe that attack was racially motivated, they're wearing blinders and live in LaLa land. I took the poll and 92% of those who took the poll agree it was terrorism. 8% didn't agree. It's really moot what these students think. The terrorist is DRT, (Dead Right There). They're gonna grow up some day and when they do, they aren't going to believe what they woke up to. Poor baby's.

TSgt Frank Shirley - Frank, you have no idea what the he'll you're talking about. So I'm going to consider the source, and tell you to fuck off, you freaking idiot. I've defended you many times about your handicap, but no more buster. You're on your own.

The terrorist was still human and had the ability to reason. These snowflakes who refuse to call it terrorism are not fooling anyone and terrorists will use their naivete against them. Downplaying a terrorist act as a response to racism is cowardice. Nobody denies racism, but blaming racism instead of holding a person accountable to their actions is shameful and disgusting and dangerous.

Cpl (Join to see) - Hard to believe there are still doubters about whether it was racism or terrorism. Anybody with an ounce of sense should know that if someone deliberately drives their car into a crowd, and then jumps out slashing anyone close, is a terrorist inspired act. Especially if it's ISIS inspired.

Much easier to pretend terrorism is not happening and to accept that as a fact - unfortunately - most of the folks on her will never have such a luxury and know far to well that what we seen so far is but the start and not something that can be just written off. Understand that race is a fault line now in the US - as it is in many countries - but this attack was not one that was aimed at that. Fault line attacks take preparation and planning and a cell.

Sorry I disagree Frank on this being rooted in racism- I see racism in this as an ordered effect of perception of such operations - not the root cause. Religious extremism is not subject to any race. Each action such as this is conducted as a message - and one towards a specific audience that is being targeted. You are perceiving it as a criminal activity - and the difference is that criminals do not conduct a crime as a message and have an external supported network that furthers that message's bounce - which is to create terror and is thus terrorism.
