I think Robertson is right. A bachelor's degree really isn't much of an education, especially in these days. I know a bachelor's degree is better than not having it, but when a person graduates with a degree in economics, with honors, and then the career afterward is bar tending; well, it calls into question the quality of the graduate. I don't know her personally, but why spend all that time and not use it? Self discovery?

Wow...a bartender...wow...then again, I suppose a bachelors of that sort really isn't terribly useful for much for getting any significant actual work, other than possibly trying for grad school to do a PhD, or maybe go for law, I'd expect...at least, that's the impression I have, at any rate, though I'm of course not meaning it to be narrow-minded...as an interesting comparison, hopefully, if you actually read the autobiography of Gen. Colin Powell, he actually got his bachelors from CCNY in geology, though I think he did either an MBA or MS in management, before he was accepted to the White House Fellow program, so, given that, I'd suppose that bachelors degrees might be useful, certainly, in the services...I've read of many pilots/aviators, and navs/NFOs/WSOs, who had nontechnical bachelors, with very serious service careers...I just rather think that such a bachelors, in the House, would certainly tend to be rather skimpy training, at best, to say the least, you know?

Economics majors have a high earning potential, if they pursue jobs in corporate world. However, given we know she is a socialist, it makes me wonder why in the world she would earn an economics degree in the first place.

She is living proof that just because You have a college degree it doesn't mean Your smart! Do not equate education with intelligence or even common sense . If You can't apply that education to real life then the money that was paid for the schooling was wasted.

It's unfortunate that there are places where only 17,000 votes, total, decide an election.

You know, there was a time when I was impatient about promotions. But, spending longer time than I wanted to as an E4, gave my leadership a chance to mentor me and develop me so that when I would later become an NCO I would hit the ground running. It was the best thing for me. I am wary of individuals who are promoted with minimum time in grade and time in service requirements. I am equally, if not more wary of politicians that seem to have a meteoric rise in politics.

Her mother should sue Boston University for a refund.

For someone with a degree in Economics, her understanding of economics is amazingly void of any reflection of reality.
