It has been illegal for a long time but the left want to push the point way beyond the law. It is their battle cry and is nothing more than attempting to destroy everything that everyone before worked so hard to get.

I once went to a hiring event at the Hampton Coliseum in the mid 1980's. One of the employers participating was the software company founded by H. Ross Perot. I was very interested in that firm, so I approached them. I was shocked when the gentleman behind their table told me, "We're only here to hire African American candidates with computer skills. You're white, so we're not interested in hiring you." Wow. To this day, I don't think that what he said was legal. But if I had protested, what good would it have done? It wouldn't surprise me at all that there remains to this day racial profiling against multiple racial and ethnic groups. And it's still illegal as hell. Agree that merit is what should determine hireability. But not racial profiling, that's wrong.

I'm shocked. No, wait. I'm not, I just had some stomach gas.
Seeing a person only as a statistic is just wrong. Seeing a person only as a demographic is wrong. Public universities have metasticized into a disea, er, morals, of stupidity.
