Here is my question, what damage??? Nothing has shut down, China is suffering more than we are, and China in the past has tried to cripple some of our base industry like Aluminum and Steel smelters.

Damage? Full employment and adding 1 million people to the middle class income levels? China just made a huge concession by "allowing" Chinese companies to by American Agricultural products. I've not seen anything from the current administration that damaged anything by demanding more equitable trading rules, which is not what we have had with the Chinese, or most of the world, for the last 30 years. I could care less if Bloomberg and JP Morgan make a profit.
