Russian pilots have started an air bombing drill near the North Korean border

Not sure what to make of this. Do they still, in a way, honor their cooperation with NK during the Korean War? Are they trying to send a message to NK that they will not tolerate NK acting militarily against neighbors?

I don't think Russia wants him launching missiles any more than China does. Putin's sending a big message to him, and to us.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester Agreed. Their vagueness about why is what has me questioning, but Russia has been good about being secretive & vague.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester Russia doesn’t want either of us starting hostilities. Why warn one of us when they can be a little vague and get a twofer.

For those who don't know, The Soviet AF flew missions over North Korea during the Korean Conflict. They would always be over NK or CPVA controlled territory. If they were shot down they would crash in Communist controlled territory
