Both sides play the same way. Democrats and Republicans. I do agree with you SGT Mays that Saudi has no plans to get rid of us, why would they? We fight for them and protect them. We are their biggest customers. When I was stationed their, I saw many third world nationals working their ass off because manual labor was beneath many Saudis. They will not get their hands dirty if they have someone else ready and willing to do it for them.

How is that any different anywhere around the world, even us? With the exception of our protection of the global lifeblood, oil.

Roger that. I do recall when certain countries in Rwanda were killing each other and we didn't lift a finger because they didn't have anything to offer us. Same thing with Bosnia, until we caved in to global outcry. If it's not in America's interest, we won't help.

I would correct that to say national security in most instances, since that is difficult for some to understand, we use the humanitarian card for public consumption. I do not believe anyone throws American lives away without good reason.

Did anyone expect anything else? There are a lot of unpatriotic resistors that had hope for our president to be disgraced in some way or another for petty political gain, but fortunately the adults were in attendance.

And thank the Lord for that MCPO Roger Collins, I think the 38 year old civil war has out lived its purpose! Time to put the radical muslims back in their place in outer lying villages of the desert! Or a permanent dirt nap.

I actually want our president to succeed. If he fails, we fail. Regardless of whether I like him or not, he is my Commander in Chief. But sometimes , he makes it very difficult.

There has been a strained relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia under Obama. Of course this hasn't been reported in the lame stream media because Obama could do no wrong. The problem revolves around Obama failing to falling to follow through on his red line in Syria. This left Saudi Arabia allies there hanging. Then Obama lifted sanctions on Iran with out consulting Saudi Arabia, our Arab ally in the region. Saudi Arabia considered this a slap in the face. I think Saudi Arabia is hoping for better treatment from Trump.

Capt Seid Waddell - Since WWII we have tried to put a stoip to that BS, otherwise war become too profitable. The British pulling that BS after WWI in the middle east is the source of many of our current problems.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr, tell that to the Vietnamese. Or Georgia. Or Crimea. Or South Sudan. Etc.

Almost all borders in the world today were established through conflict.

As to Israel - the Arabs attacked and tried to drive the Israelis into the sea multiple times but were beaten back and lost territory each time they did it. The Arabs lost the land fair and square and there is no reason it should ever be given back. That is the price of waging war and losing. This is especially true for as long as the Arabs still want to exterminate the Israelis and while they attack and kill innocent civilians as a matter of policy. The Israelis should never give in to terrorism.

Giving the Arabs hope of one day getting their land back just keeps the conflict going.

PO1 John C. - You're wasting your time Top. Seems as if some on these forums are die hard Trump fans regardless of what you tell them. It's a shame really seeing as how I voted for him as well. I only have allegiance to the Constitution and the Office of the President. I don't have to like him/her or agree with him/her. Makes this country great though. As long as they do what's best for America is my only concern. I'll not bash Democrats or Republicans because they do represent us. It is our job to police them such as you are doing. Good job Top and stay firm. I wish more would call him out as much as they called the liberals out. I have and will continue to do so, regardless of who or what party is in office. My loyalty is to America and Americans, not one party.
