SP5 Mark Kuzinski Thanks for sharing this information on the War in Vietnam. It is very interesting and in my opinion a very important part of our military history that needs to be revealed and studied by our younger generations. There is a lot to be learned through victories and losses throughout this conflict. Just an opinion!

Thank you COL Mikel J. Burroughs - I agree 100%. Even knowing history it seems that wee we keep on making the same mistakes over and over again.

Thanks for sharing another historical post from what was in many of our lifetimes SP5 Mark Kuzinski. The South Vietnamese 21st Division had been trying to reach the besieged city An Loc since April 9 and had been delayed by enemy forces until they finally were able to reach the city two months later. That is a long time to wait for relief but in those days unfortunately it wasn't that uncommon or relief forces to be bogged down with fighting their way through. This seems more like WWII than modern warfare; but, that was the case for the ARVN learning to do things on their own under Vietnamization.
