If there isn't a clear line of communication, then you need to pack it in and move out before you do something stupid. Too many "Hooah" men who hide behind "toughness" and alcohol running around, and when it finally hits, it's like a Peterbuilt hit you and the one person who could save you is in a lawyers office drawing up divorce papers. If you want it, gotta fight for it, but not physically or through mental abuse.
