It wasn't an accident the Syrian backed troops were deliberately walking heavy artillery rounds direct towards U.S. Special Forces Positions. Probably to see how close they could get before a response. They got their answer........about 5 football fields. I read from other sources. Then the Russians at the U.N.: "Who invited the Americans into Syria".........which is hilarious considering they were invited by the never elected democratically Syrian President after he lost control of 95% of his country.
