The Texas Supreme Court on Friday rejected, without comment, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' attempt to toss out four defamation lawsuits by parents of children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012.
The parents sued in Travis County, where Jones and his InfoWars website are based, arguing that they were defamed and suffered emotional distress after InfoWars broadcasts disputed the authenticity of the school shooting and the news coverage that followed.

I've thought a lot about this. People fomenting conspiracy theories and lies have been hiding behind "oh it's entertainment" and "people really don't believe this stuff" in court. But that's not how people are viewing it, they are viewing it as real. People like Alex Jones has to know that but he continues to do it anyway.
If we allowed for civil penalties for this type of conduct, we may not have gotten so far down this road.

So does that mean we can sue the Left, the US House of Representatives and MSM for fomenting the "Russia Collusion" and "Ukraine Phone Call" hoaxes as well? Asking for 75+ million friends.
