Thank you for a sharing the 4 key things that need to be proven in every VA benefits claim SGT (Join to see)
Pillar 1: Eligibility as a veteran
Pillar 2: Service connection
Pillar 3: Impairment rating
Pillar 4: Effective date
What I have learned is that VBA is not very efficient. They also need to see evidence of the impairment through a BVBA evaluation. Because if a hiccup in timing my recent claim was denied because they said I was no-show even though I have documented evidence that I went to the appointment. I learned that an initial no-show had been reported - the receptionist/nurse was overloaded. By the grace o God, I helped he out by inputting my own data into the system from my own paperwork. She remembered that I had been there and updated the report. I hope this situation is resolved this month [November 2015 appointment].
