Well, not really, CW5 Jack Cardwell! The music was written by Pete Seeger in the 1950s as a folk song. And the lyrics, as we all know, come from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV! TSgt Joe C. PO2 Robert M. COL Mikel J. Burroughs

I knew a man (Ross Schlosbon) who was the School District Psychologist at the Department of Education in 2013. Everyday when he came into the office by my desk, he was singing the song, "Turn, Turn, Turn".
He had an interesting life, in his youth he worked at a scrap yard in New Jersey, he was tall, muscler, and used to wrestle with engine blocks to keep in shape.
He told me he always owned a corvette through his years, and was driving a corvette at the time, he went to Woodstock in 1969 in a corvette, and lost his blond date there, and never saw her again.
I fingered out why he always sung that song in 2013, he was already in his mid 60's, and the words was his life;

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

Ross since left Guam in 2014 to become a School Psychologist in South Carolina somewhere.
Last I heard from him, he said he got pulled over by the Highway Patrol in NC, for going over 100mph in his corvette. lol

"Drive On Ross, Turn, Turn, Turn", I'll see you in the next bend in the road of life. Carl
