Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. We have examples of how audacity, imagination and courage have changed our world.
Does anyone else remember the audacity of Star Trek putting the first interracial kiss on TV? How about those communicators that many called impossible...our cell phones are now smaller than that and more powerful than the computer on the show. But it took audacity to write that and then press for it to happen. And then we have Operation Warp Speed...
Sometimes audacity is what it takes. Put the challenge out there and see who picks it up and runs with it.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great examples of audacity this morning Charlie... Thanks for the additional quotes and thanks for having the audacity to post the truth about today's political environment here on RallyPoint - Salute...

“Today’s message and quotes are about the ‘audacity’ from the standpoint of being bold as a leader and not the negative, rude, and disrespectful behavior meaning. Even though that might apply here on this forum from time-to-time, but today we look at what is needed to lead in the face of adversity and that leads me to this quote for today…

‘You are a leader. Audacity is the one word that leaders must ensure that all future leaders learn and relearn on a daily basis.’ — Unknown Author

May you always have the audacity and strength to always lead from the front with boldness and wisdom; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Have an audacious day everyone!” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect your moral courage and steadfast character is inspirational to those you lead and those who rely on your judgement and advice. I expect you have demonstrated moral courage on behalf of others at times. Hopefully our moral courage is increasing. I pray that you and I take criticism in stride, learn from conflicts and mistakes, and are becoming more compassionate. ‘But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.’ [Philippians 3:13b-16 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I thank YOU LORD that designed each one us of how to learn best and YOU blessed our parents, guardians, and teachers of all sorts, from school through military training, to help us learn. Thank YOU, LORD for blessing each of us with discernment to help our own children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to learn. ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ [Proverbs 22:6 ESV]
I pray for an increase in transparency, humility, compassion, faithfulness, and self-control for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it dear LORD. Empower and motivate us to be transparent to those who rely on us, especially the young. I pray that we share what we have learned to edify the young – both successes and failures. ‘Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo ourselves in honoring one another. … Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer. Share with the saints who are in need. Practice hospitality.’ [Romans 12:10, 12-13 ESV]
I lift the timid, the abused, the fearful, and the indecisive to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless each with a large measure of hope and endurance to persevere though these challenging times. I pray that YOU bless those too timid and fearful, who have minimal hope, with desires YOU shall fulfill and a vision to guide them to personal victory. ‘Where there is no prophetic vision, the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law’ [Proverbs 29:18 ESV]. I pray that YOU bless the abused and fearful with boldness to face their fears and abusers. The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.’ Proverbs 28:1 ESV]
Thank you, LORD for sanctification. Although it is painful at times, we know that YOU are pruning us as a gardener prunes trees to make us healthier and more fruitful. Hopefully our physical stamina is proportional to the spiritual stamina the Holy Spirit blesses us with as YOU sanctify our soul. ‘we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. [Romans 5:3b-5 ESV]
I lift trustworthy, honest, and forthright government, military, business, & industry leaders, administrators and managers to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU motivate each to fulfill promises they make to those they lead. Empower them to demonstrate love to those they lead as well as respect for all people. I pray that YOU fulfill the hopes and dreams of each of those leaders, administrators and managers in YOUR perfect timing. ‘Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope! Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually! [Psalm 119:116-117 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Wednesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - That quote was a bit of a shock LOL - I have a wonderful little OLD daily devotional book I'm reading - (every night) - and lately they've been pushing the reader to ASK! Sometimes, we get thinking (I was taught as a child) that you ask once and leave it in His Hands - this little book says that's incorrect - keep asking until you receive - because you WILL receive - in His time. :-) <3
