Good “Thursday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from another spectacular morning in the Greater Boston Area, with crystal clear deep blue skies and a warming temperature! I just love it!!!
Today is: “Magnificent Day!” ...and that is what this day in Greater Boston brings, How about in your City/Town? ----- Memes to follow -----
MY PERSONAL QUOTE:
1) "Magnificent" is most defined as impressively beautiful, elaborate, or extravagant, or striking, but the meaning goes much deeper than that… Life as a whole is magnificent...and is what one makes it so for him/herself" Kerry F. Harkins - May 13, 2021
"Only if you have been in the deepest valley, can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain." - Richard Nixon
"You can only embrace the magnificence of your own reality when you stop envying the moments on her highlight reel." - Anonymous
"Your magnificence has made me a wonder. Your charm has taught me the way of love." - Rumi
"I am who I am because the tears of my past have watered the magnificence of my present." - Steve Maraboli
"Magnificence is likewise a source of the sublime. A great profusion of things which are splendid or valuable in themselves is magnificent. The starry heaven, though it occurs so very frequently to our view, never fails to excite an idea of grandeur." - Edmund Burke
And so to, it is that...
"Magnificent leadership transforms uncertainty, transcends circumstances, kindles inspiration, and claims the future!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect you realize your life, health and times are in God’s capable hands. No doubt you are grateful for salvation. While there is no inherent righteousness in any of us, by God’s grace HE imputes the righteousness of Christ to each of HIS Own adopted sons and daughters. God demonstrates HIS magnificence continually and HIS grace is limitless and his mercy abounds. 'let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.' [Hebrews 4-16] my brother-in-Christ
Sgt (Join to see).
Thank YOU, LORD for YOUR love, care for each of us. Thank YOU for the beauty of creation which surrounds us. Too many people desire to be lauded and admired for temporal power, wealth and/or beauty. YOU desire us to be childlike and appreciative of the beauty that is all around us including personal relationships. 'At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’ [Matthew 18:1-4 ESV]
I lift up each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are interceding for salvation and health of family members, friends and loved ones to YOU. Especially Lt Col Charlie Brown, SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, widower MSgt Dave Hoffman, and widow SPC Diana D.. I am thankful that YOU control every aspect of our lives and YOU prune our desires as YOU bless us with desires that YOU shall fulfill. ‘What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. [Romans 9:14-16 ESV]
Remember the admonition of the LORD as far as prayer and righteousness. We are not righteous by nature, yet God imputes righteousness to us by HIS grace. I pray for the gift of faith and discerning the spirits daily. ‘Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. [James 5:13-18 ESV]
Thankfully the future is in YOUR hands for us individually and corporately. YOU work all things to good for the body of Christ corporately and us individually. YOU endured more pain on the cross, than the cumulative pain of all humanity. YOUR demonstration of love through the atonement is the most magnificent event for humanity. 'And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.' [Romans 8:28-30 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
