Good Wednesday morning Col Burroughs and Posse and happy Hump Day!
Try not to take things too seriously; we waste so much time and energy on unimportant things and issues. This is the ideal place to run the 2-2-2 rule test...will I care about it in two hours, two weeks or two months? No? Not worth it then, just let it go. Save your energy, time and focus for the important stuff...family, friends, relationships, faith...those are the things that continue to matter for a lifetime.

I expect your sense of humor, common sense, and ability to remain calm in challenging situations has stead you well over the years. No doubt those who rely on your leadership, advice and friendship appreciate your moral courage, humility, forthrightness, and ability to focus on the primary issues. I hope and pray that each of us do our utmost to be respectful, truthful, and worthy of emulation. 'Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ [1 Peter 5:5 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for humility, endurance in selfless service, compassion and sufficient fruit of the Holy Spirit goodness, peace, self-control, and patience for each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads or listens to this prayer. Thank YOU, LORD for developing patience in each of us through challenges and maturing us in YOUR perfect timing. Let YOUR peace flood through us to bring calm to troubled situations and relationships. 'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid' [John 14:27 ESV]
I pray for discernment, alertness, and sufficient communication capability for each deployed service member, and on-duty police force members and federal and state agents. I pray that the deployed service members and deployed federal and state police force members communicate with their spouses and especially children as safely as they can without compromising anything. 'He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers.' [Malachi 4:6 ESV]
I lift individuals whose state if mind is unstable, those suffering from PTSD, TBI, depression, disturbed dreams and sleeplessness, and insanity to YOU LORD as well those who care for them and or rely on them. I pray that YOU bless each with a large measure of peace as they experience the cyclical storms in their minds. YOU are our peace in the storms of life. 'I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. [John 16:33 ESV]
YOU are aware of the bias of network gatekeepers and administrators of international, national and local networks including social networks. By YOUR grace YOU allow people to err, be prejudiced and biased for a season. I pray that YOU bless each RallyPoint member who reads this with discernment, sensitivity to offence, grace to persevere in doing what is noble, right and true. I lift each member who has been terminated to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each with fellowship and trustworthy friendship. I pray that many will return in YOUR perfect timing. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’ [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
As far as the biased network gatekeepers and administrators, I pray that many will respond to YOUR prompting to treat others as they would like to be treated. YOUR patience is a blessing. 'Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.'[Proverbs 16:18-19 ESV]
Remember the admonishment of the LORD as far as treating others.
d. Matthew 7:12 ESV 'In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.'
e. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV 'Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." '
f. Hebrews 13:1-3 ESV ‘Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.’
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Wednesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Great message and advice PO2 (Join to see) - today have fun and enjoy it brother...

“Sometimes we get wrapped up around the ankles about things that aren’t really that serious or that shouldn’t be taken seriously like opinions and beliefs. We need to learn to not take things so seriously and end up pushing people away or excluding them. Some of the things we believe in or problems we have will overwhelm are very day, sometimes our judgment, and sometimes we overreact out of ego, guilt, shame, or leadership. That reminds me of this quote…

‘Don’t take life too seriously. Sometimes you just have to laugh at your problems, knowing its’ not the end of everything.’ — Unknown Author

May you find the things in your life that serious enough to pursue for the right reasons and make your take your own life less seriously and enjoy it more; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
