I expect you have helped many others and you have applied your hands, feet and mind to assist others in solving problems. I hope that you are focused on serving selflessly those who rely on you for leadership, advice, teaching and training. Many in this current generation of leaders seem to be self-absorbed and devoid of true wisdom which is the fear of the LORD. I expect that you are spiritually mature enough to be a servant leader. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word. “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” [Galatians 5:13-14 ESV], my brother-in-Christ Sgt (Join to see).

I pray that the LORD blesses each one of HIS adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it with a significant measure of wisdom and discernment during these challenging times. Thank YOU, Holy Spirit for dwelling with the soul of each of us and guiding us day-by-day and hour-by-hour. I pray that YOU give each of us eyes to see and ears to hear what we need to know as we are exposed to new approaches and concepts. Help us to stand firm on the rock of truth. ‘Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents.’ [Philippians 1:27-28 ESV]
I pray for parents, guardians, grandparents and other involved in raising and training up children. I pray that we each are blessed with insight by YOU LORD to train up each child as YOU designed them to learn. Help us encourage the natural inquisitiveness of children and never to stifle their hopes and dreams. ‘At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’ [Matthew 18:1-4 ESV]
I pray that you and I heed the admonition of the LORD
a. 'What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.' [James 2:14-17 ESV]
b. Romans 8:26-28 ESV 'Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.'

I pray that parents demonstrate love and respect to each person we interact with and that children observe and take note that each human being is worthy of our respect. I pray that parents encourage their children to explore new ideas, approaches and ideas for inventions from serious to frivolous. I pray that love is increasing in families of the body of Christ and our neighbors in the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Israel, India, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. ‘Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.’ [Romans 12: 9-12 ESV]
I lift the prideful who are self-satisfied without humility; those who take ideas and inventions from others and declare it their own with vehemence; and each who takes advantage of trusting souls to YOU LORD. ‘To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.’ [Titus 1:15-16 ESV]
