Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs . Good topic. Humans are social beings. We do not do well in isolation. Our health suffers, particularly our emotional well being and balance. Current studies show that being socially connected has positive impacts on our physical health as well; those who have strong social ties live longer and healthier lives.
What is your social network like? Do you need to get out and connect more or is it a matter of strengthening ties you already have?

It is very Biblical that we should come together and lift each other up. Veterans, active duty and their spouses need to pull together to overcome our needs. Warriors for Life is a program that I am honored to to say has helped me and will help many others. Please consider participating in the support program, it may very well be what you need. I offer the following verses for your consideration. Be Blessed my RP Family.
1 Cor. 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1st Thess. 5:14. “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
