Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs from sunny Northern Virginia.
Do what you can day. So many people look at what is happening and say it is too much for me and disengage. We can't do or fix everything but we can have an impact on the place where we are and the things that are important to us. Pick a project or a problem that is important to you and find a way to make a difference. That's what you can do. You may need to ration your time and other resources but if you can make a difference somewhere, it counts. I do my work for veterans in several ways and I also work on Domestic Violence issues. I get lots of calls for other causes that are good ones but I know I can't do everything, but I can do something!
