It is amazing how we can find a connection in music as it became a source of inspiration to write poetry.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs
Too many people think they can find peace by striving for it. Peace is not found in others or in things. Peace is accomplished by accepting where you are now and not letting others tell you what you should feel. Once you do that you are free to move forward as you will. What can you do to take charge of your emotions and not let others dictate to you?

Have a wonderful Monday night, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
Heavenly Father, YOU are the source of all wisdom, love and peace. Before YOU created the creation, YOU developed the process to restore broken relationship with YOU. In the fullness of time, YOU executed the plan and the bridge to restoration of fellowship for mankind was created at the atonement of the Christ.
Many are struggling amidst seemingly overwhelming circumstances this season – health, finances, marriages, employment, and relationships with relatives may seem past restoration. LORD YOU make a way for each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters in each and every circumstance. I pray that YOU restore hope to the hopeless and joy to the desolate and restored relationship among the estranged. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart sensitive to YOU of LORD.
I pray that we each would be quick to forgive and to ask forgiveness when we offend deliberately or accidentally.
Christmas reminds us that our Savior was born and that HIS life culminated in the atonement on the Cross. It is on that basis that salvation and fellowship with YOU LORD is available to each and all who sincerely seek YOU.
I pray that YOU fulfill long-held prayers for salvation of family members and friends this season and that many of those who are YOUR adopted sons and daughters will have their hearts regenerated by YOU and embrace their need for salvation.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

But, seriously... “There is calmness at the center of us, a very deep well of happiness that cannot be exhausted, but it will never be experienced while our perceptions are twisted by doubt and fear.” —Prather
