COL Mikel Burroughs good read/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty ROCKY MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THEIR EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICENT on this day May 22, 2020 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of July. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am full-time DOD employee doing contracts for the Defense Contracting Management Agency. It is good to have sometime on my break to respond.

I expect that realize conflict is a basic part of life for all living creatures including human beings with our soul created in God’s image. The biggest conflict threat to human beings is spiritual conflict which rages in the heavenlies and by God’s grace HE has provided the Armor of God to each of HIS own. The only offensive weapon is the Word of God which the Holy Spirit stores and maintains within our soul Joe.
I pray that you and I remember that the Word of God is offensive to human fleshly inclinations and that we should never use god’s Word as a club – especially against those we love or who love us, my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
I pray LORD that tensions within families and other groups quarantined together is reducing as spring rolls on into summer. I pray LORD that YOU bless each of YOUR adopted children’s families with a large dose of love, compassion, humility, and self-control.
I lift those fighting on our behalf in the war against terror around the world to YOU. I pray that this conflict shall ultimately be successful for those who support freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of commerce.
I thank YOU LORD for YOUR Word, as YOU admonish us: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. This quarantine has brought out both the best and the worst in people and their relationships. It shows the style and strength of your conflict reolution or avoidance skills. A good deal of the stress that people are feeling is being with those they are not normally with 24/7 and many are not coping all that well with it. Sometimes the best temporary solution is silence until all parties can work things out reasonably.
