MAJ James Woods good read/share, look at the 2016 Presidential election. I am glad it works for the nation. Very important for a fair voting process.

MAJ James Woods
Fair voting process? A state with a very small population has by ratio a larger representation in government than a state with a very large population. On the other hand, low populace states are worried largely populated states, mostly of minorities, have more representation.
Either way, politicians will always play the EC and in turn ignore multiple states that are typically low populated, rural, and predominantly White or Native American. Thus why 2016 happened. I would love to see a presidential candidate that feels it is his/her duty to visit Americans in all 50 states in an effort to campaign for their vote. With today's transportation capability it's not like a candidate couldn't visit every state twice in one year.

I understand the purpose of the EC, but I am of mixed opinion on it. One, I believe every citizen's vote should count. But, I understand how the larger states could overpower the smaller ones.
As said, mixed opinion.
