I recently found myself reminiscing about the lever-actions I’ve had over the years. I used to own a Marlin 336 but traded it for an old Winchester Model 94. There’s just something about the craftsmanship in those older rifles that’s hard to beat! I’ve also been dabbling with shotgun parts https://everygunpart.com/long-guns-kits/shotguns.html kits lately. It’s fascinating how you can breathe new life into vintage shotguns with the right parts. Honestly, I think restoring these old beauties gives you a deeper appreciation for their history. So, while the new Marlin 1895 SBL is impressive, I still have a soft spot for those classic Winchesters.

The 45-70 is a good gun. Good luck getting one at a good price right now.

Might be able to find one in a pawn shop next year. I'm hoping anyway.

SGT (Join to see) - Good luck. I've been on a waiting list with my dealer for over a year and a half.
