Excellent article sir, reintegration is key to combating veteran suicide. The article says it best: "“Veteran” is now an identity, replete with its own lingo, aesthetic, folk heroes, and lore. PTSD is viewed as just something veterans have, a souvenir of their service, and suicide is what they do when they can’t take it anymore." The challenge becomes, how to we bridge the gap between veterans and civilians? While they are technically the same thing by definition, the culture shock is definitely there.
