I’ve always liked the movie, SGT Robert Pryor, even though Oddball is clearly a sixties era hippie!
On a tangent, related by title only, I’m reminded of the 2000 movie, The Tao of Steve. It’s “a romantic comedy film written by Duncan North, Greer Goodman, and Jenniphr Goodman, directed by Jenniphr Goodman, and starring Donal Logue and Greer Goodman.“
The movie is really funny, and Dex’s taoist outlook has three parts:
1. Eliminate desire
2. Be excellent
3. Retreat
Watch it. You won’t be disappointed!

And I think there are one or two of us here on RP, SPC Nancy Greene, that can Identify with that character -- me included.
