Very interesting article. Even today many veterans of Vietnam are fighting for coverage for their off-spring. I didn't realize that children of women veterans suffering from birth defects were covered but males whose children suffered the same defects, their children were not covered. Also, Danang Airport today is the old air base from the war. I was stationed there on tdy throughout 1967 and the beginning of 1968. It was one of the most toxic areas and still is today. One of the "hot-spots" was inside the base perimeter at the north end.

My mom's late husband suffered form long lasting effects. He had three separate types of cancer that he was being treated for when he finally passed. Each time they would add another caveat onto the "if you had another type like this" stipulations. Way to wait it out government.

The effects of this chemical compound is devastating. One of the ingredients that made up Agent Orange is no longer sold.
