It is a misstatement that there is a feud within the veterans community since most of us get along very well SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I know you did not come up with headline which is focused on the organizations which are supposed to represent groups of veterans as lobbyists to Congress and other government agencies at the sate and Federal levels.
Personally I concur with Concerned Veterans for America in its stand to make government more efficient and less costly and getting government to focus on what government alone can do and allowing the states and market forces to do the rest. I may not agree with all of the details; but, I have seen far too much wasted money in the VA and those who should be punished generally not being punished. One day the Civil Service may generally be civil and those who aren't being terminated but that it much too hard to do right now.

Truthfully, if CVA is fighting with all of those organizations it is a problem. American Legion, AMVETS, Paralyzed Vets and VFW are often not on the same page. To have managed to antagonize all of them takes serious work and likely means that you do not understand the concerns of a large segment of the veteran community. To turn the VA government agency into a nonprofit is a huge undertaking. The only real advantage I see would be the ability to get rid of some of the worst of the poor service offenders who are almost impossible to fire now.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL A most excellent post. We need to start watching GoFundMe accounts. I think this tool will be used to funnel money to these left wing groups that are anti-veterans.
