Agreed great story. What would be interesting is the story of there descendants and what lessons their great or great-great granddaughters learned and are applying. Getting both great or great-great granddaughters and for that matter grandsons in telling and advocating for this story would be very enlightening. Many of those women at the time were perhaps direct Revolutionary War descendants as great-great or great-great-great grandchildren and perhaps had stories retold about those ancestors, who I am sure also consisted of heroic women. Being able to know the stories behind those stories would be very interesting!
