Nice idea....the same can also be done by mounting small cameras on the sides of roof rails or built into the pillars in such a manner as to capture the same image shown in her video and project it on the top left and top right sides of the windshield (like an HUD)...image doesn't have to be big....just enough to see who's on the right & left....there are already vehicles with HUD's showing speed and gas mileage....
