This Vietnam veteran's untold war stories may be keeping him from getting VA benefits

The Shrinks where I work tell me there is no doubt that I have PTSD, and my VA Doctor has even put it in my record, but the VA will not accept it because I only have two of the 5 classifying factors for PTSD. The Shrinks at Work say that is asinine Its NOT a game show, you do not get more points for more disorders. But since I am not suicidal, Not a threat to myself or anyone else, and I am not suffering from extreme depression, Plus the fact I can still actually work a full time job It seems I am SOL. The emotional instability and nightmares is not enough. I guess I should be thankful it only took 30 years to get a set of hearing aids after working a light deck for 6 years.

This is inexcusable, they are awarding 100% for Halitosis. If he has a Purple Heart there should be a citation. Many times you have to shame the VA into doing the right thing,

This is sad but I'm not surprised. This could have very easily happened to me. I was there a year before him and I had a stroke at about the same time. That made it easy to put myself in his shoes. There has to be something we can do. With all the money our government wastes I don't understand how this can happen.
