Take just a portion of the savings and increase the monthly BAS. The rest would just be a reduction in taxes needed to run the government.

Isn't that funny because I constantly hear the line that "All the money spent on base stays on base"... so if that's truly the case, why do they need to cut costs.

Maybe it's costing too much to maintain them, which would come out of taxpayers pockets. I hate to see it. Evidentially our military is in worse shape than we're being told.
