US Naval Academy midshipman charged with sexual assault

Well my friend SSG(P) (Join to see) since sexual assaults tend to be grossly under-reported, it is good news when culprits are apprehended and charged.
1. I was a member of the first USMA and USMAPS prior to that which included women. Greta precautions were taken to ensure no female was left alone in billeting in the barracks. My class had the fewest women and a high attrition rate [34% for the entire class and about 50% for the women. We had five deaths and the bulk left voluntarily of failed to meet requirements.
2. Life in the service academies is closely monitored. Kudos to USNA for prosecuting.
