Great video. The roots of this war grew deep into the Vietnamese soil and souls.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel , Thank you for this documentary Post! The Vietnam War, conflict or whatever one desires to call it, in my view, was a no-win situation for every country involved... The families of the Vietnam people were fractured, with some siding with the North Vietnamese, and some siding with the South Vietnamese... One of my best friends was a U.S. Navy river patrol boat captain whose job was to patrol the Mekong Delta... During his many deployments to Vietnam, He married a Vietnamese woman named Mai. After the war and the end of his deployment, they came home to America and raised their family... I won't go into detail, but Mai earned two degrees and went on to write a book entitled "Crossing the Bamboo Bridge: Memoirs of a Bad Luck Girl:" Her story goes through the horrendous struggle of survival for the Vietnamese people...and her particular struggle during the Vietnam War... I have read Her book and at times had tears in my eyes as I read of tragedy after tragedy during this war... If any of you wish to Read this book, I highly recommend it! Again, Chip, thank you for that outstanding documentary share...
