The president in general. The reporter got it wrong and admitted it. Happens. The question isn't if someone occasionally makes a mistake, it's how they deal with such a mistake when it happens. Do they double down on the misinformation or do they retract it?

No SPC Kevin Ford, I was referring to the word “occasionally” that was used to try and present a low rate of the media trying to hurt this administration. The media coverage is 95-98% negative; even when it is nit warranted.
and...”staggering” in what context, regard it number. He speaks in hyperbole and does give false numbers (like “only country that give” birth-right citizenships). I believe most of these are off the cuff before verify the info. Though this is poor communication and style, it does not reach the magnitude you purport to see.
