Warning Shot Enough for Jury to Consider Self-Defense Claim

I'm personally against warning shots, but agree that it should be a sign of self defense to a jury.

I personally feel many laws are set up for people to be killed and with the current climate I would never fire a warning shot or pull a weapon out unless I am going to use it. I think many laws are designed to keep bullies from brandishing or warning shots as a means to scare people and if push comes to shove, they would run like many bullies do. Problem is, plenty are not bullies and showing our weapon is not a scare tactic but a warning we will actually use it if needed. We lose that up front warning system because of cowards.
