"Sabre Rattling" is a diplomatic tactic. Intruding on the sovereign space of another nation is an act of war. It doesn't necessarily lead to war, but in the case of North and South Korea which are still technically in a state of war, it is serious stuff.

Very true. No Treaty has ever been signed. The extended cease fire has been violated hundreds of times by the North.

Technically our forces are part of the UN Forces. Let the UN deal with it. It will put the Chinese in the position of being on both sides

SSG Edward Tilton - LOL. "Let the UN deal with it..." Please stop. I'm going to have a coronary if you keep joking like that...

Did you see that POS, you could buy better at Radio Shack. It was brought down by a .50 Cal. The North is a danger to itself and its neighbors. They almost hit Russia firing at the US.

SSG Edward Tilton and that may be their ultimate downfall - they hit the wrong target, pissing big brother China, or Russia off to the point of retaliation.

I was stationed in and around Paju-Ri for three years. Google Earth shows guns in my artillery bunkers, must be ROK. A little Artillery duel or fire fight helps clear the air
