I liked Battleship too except the Engineering Officer never would have be able to get a TS clearance and join the navy/become a Navy Officer breaking into a 7-11 to impress the Hot woman that someday would be his Wife!

My thought was when I saw the movie in high school was that they could have fired those long-range Phoenix missiles are all the ordinance as they were turning back they would have taken out quite a bit of the Japanese torpedo squadrons and I could have used USS Texas to show that those battleships didn't all get sun and that their efforts did make a difference in World War II.

I mean they could have said that it changed the tide of the war that the war lasts and weigh less because the u.s. Navy could have sunk some of the carriers.

LTC (Join to see) Yeah seems like they could of done much more at the end. Instead they were all set up for the attack, then the storm comes again, pier side, movie end.

Of course maybe fabric space/time couldn't allow them to attack because if they did:

-Maybe we wouldn't get involved in the war, which means....
-We wouldn't become a military superpower, which means....
-We wouldn't of built the NIMITZ, which means...
-There would be no ship to go back in time to stop the Japanese, which means...
-The Japanese attack Pearl Harbor.

SCPO (Join to see) - We would have been a superpower, though, since Germany was still at War for 2 years already against England. We just would have beat them earlier.
